Yeah, not many people know about prison labor. Lets not even get started on private ran for-profit prison's. However, ill extend that. Any job that is overtime exempt. Its a complete load of bullshit. Sure, when they are "highly compensated" it can help but when they are not and you still are "exempt" its just forced labor and you don't always have the option to just "get another job". I don't believe in exempt overtime jobs but have been in a industry where that is the norm most of my life. Its bullshit.

However, the linked article should take a really fucking close look at VP Kamala. She was known to do exactly what they accuse of.. Keeping people in jail because of cheap forced labor.

I don't like the companies taking a big cut of it though. Its worse than taxes. Work a job that "pays $13/hr" and get paid $2/hr? Yes, there should be some offset and I agree with that entirely. This just seems overly predatory. I say that even stating that deported illegals that re-enter the country should go to a forced labor camp for a few years (in another country) to further deter the behavior.

Not only that. Because of how the system works a company may be paying $13/hr for a job that should be $25/hr which means its depressing wages for non-criminals that are not locked up keeping people from being able to earn more for the work they do because there is basically cheap/slave labor available.

Agree, probably need oversight of that shit because it's definitely ripe for jewery/predation.

Yeah illegals, definitely work camp their degenerate asses. They wanted to be here anyway!
