Don't have data handy but those panels are supposed to be more resilient than one might think. Do some research.

All I know is that the common storms have hail that's about the size of a large ball bearing if not a bit bigger, and the rarer ones have like tennis ball sized hail.

Propane genny sounds like a good idea, in case you have a good amount of propane storage. Where I live, we use fuel oil and have large tanks in our basements.

Hm yeah I'm not sure where we could put the propane to be honest, I haven't spent much time looking into it.
