Cool design and woodworking there. Simple but very effective design too.
If I ever get around to firing up my laser cutter again, it would be cool to make some of these out of Alder wood. Alder smells great when being cut by the laser and I could probably get about a dozen of these out of one 2"x4"x60" plank if I nest them tightly.

Thank you. Originally it was only two pieces to cut out. Then I began thinking about my wife and her purse. If I were able to keep both pieces together then she could stash it in her purse more easily. Then it became multiple cuts and this is what I wound up with.
