As far as the kerf calculator, the most important part is this:
>The optimum depth of the cut, and thus remaining minimum thickness of wood to obtain the curve cannot be calculated. It depends on the type of wood, grain, dimensions etc. Test your dimensions and cut depth on pieces of scrap first, to perfect.
