Decided to ditch the top rim and just put it directly on the frame after some (not enough, spot the shim) planing and sanding. Later on I'll put in a little shelf underneath, but I'm not too concerned with that at the moment. I'm working on the base for my new thrift store wood lathe now...

Good enough for government work. Add some locking casters to make it a step better

man casters are fucking expensive, i put some on my table saw they were 25 bucks each.

So is 100 bucks worth the ease of effort they provided when you want to move that bitch around?

That bandsaw doesnt look light. If he is going to forever stick that in one spot and not move it around, perfect the way it sits. but we both know adding some locking wheels make it better the very first time you want to move it.

Oh man, I know. It was expensive for me at the time, but I use it for every project. It has been worth it.

That's awesome. Can't wait to see any projects you're able to build!!!
