I read that Tung oil was a good finisher, but I'm looking for a good finish if not that one, and the best process to treat said wood. This is African Ipe, if that matters.

And no, I'm not done sanding.

Edit: I want to put a design on this too, I was thinking I would use the woodburner.

Yep, just wipe rub it in, let it sit and wipe off the extra. Same as any other oil. Used it on a Teether I made for the baby.
