Would prefer stone walls, but maybe just start with one easy to find resource, unless I come upon a nice pile.

Probably work with tine and wedge cuts. Any tips or pics?

Find a secretive and isolated location and don't put any windows on it. Keep it in the forest, off the beaten path but relatively near to a river, lake or stream.

Keep it hidden well and get water and hunt at night or early morning.

I'm debating. There'd be a nice spot behind my parents place, but I can't think of one near my own. Me and cousin may start it tomorrow. No nails, straight Bushcraft. I'd allow a couple power tools for first run I guess

Built a real nice two story with a deck tree house when I was a kid. All three of us were over 6 ft by 13, so the rooms had to have good head room.

Yeah, really haven't done tree house or fort stuff since I was a kid, but wanna try Bushcraft

Watch a few videos on how to build a log cabin. Most of the vids I've seen came out of Alaska, but very educational vids, none the less. They look like they'd hold up well to the cold. They'd have to, being in Alaska, lol

Always liked that extremely old guy in Alaska doing everything himself on pbs
