I’m by no means an expert and this is the first real project I made for someone else and I went big by making a wedding gift. I’m super happy with how it turned out and couldn’t share on social media for obvious reasons.

It’s called an anniversary box. The front pane of glass was taken out for this picture. You’re supposed to have the bride/groom write a letter to each other then on their first anniversary they break the glass, read the letters and drink the wine to celebrate.

Is the wine supposed to be stored upside down? I was always told on its side.

I’ve always been told that the wine needs to stay in contact with the cork so it doesn’t dry out. So side or upside would work for it but I’m not a Somalia so I’d defer.
