Turns out I didn’t have a 3/8 hole saw bit to make the plugs, no matter… A . Smelled like burnt mahogany, but did the job.

Turns out I didn’t have a 3/8 hole saw bit to make the plugs, no matter… A [12mm Diamond hole saw did the job](https://pic8.co/sh/i4pHWQ.jpeg). Smelled like burnt mahogany, but did the job. Pretty sure his was much more hastily built from the reeds in which he was hidden… as the story goes.

Table saws were a little harder to come by in those days.

I dare say that while there are power tools that would make this build easier, I do not own or have access to them. Thus there are gaps and delineations I find less than appealing. Overall, however, I’m pleased with the outcome.
