I came close to going back to med school as a non traditional student. Ultimately I decided surgery was the only area that interested me, and being around for my young family was more important than becoming a surgeon. That said…. When I was looking, even back then, the entrance requirements were so blatantly racist it was disgusting. A mediocre nigger could get into med school so much more easily than a white or Asian. Women had an easier time as well. The stats and requirements were well documented and well understood…. White guys had to walk on water.
