Yes but at the same time liberals bought up cheap property to have a cheap summer/winter home, they then can vote and turned it into little Seattle.

The same thing here in Oregon, bend/sun river are little Portland but east of the cascades.

I went to sun river river 20ish years ago. I hated it, it’s just liberals waiting to get back home to brag. “Oh we biked everywhere” blah blah blah. It’s just slightly south of Bend and a lot of vacation homes and time shares.

My brother has a cabin further south and a little west very close to the beginning of the cascades. Extremely nice and has a tiny town of very conservative familes/indivduals.
