I was in boy scouts, and I met a woman that became an eagle scout. Boy scouts had explorer groups (Ie specialized scout troop like a firefighter troop) that boys or girls could join. As a condition of joining the explorer post, you had to join the boy scouts, which is a small form and a small fee. I don't see why what this girl did is special or important . . .
