Yeah, dude doesn't know about Greek women using Nightshade to make their pupils dilate, using certain berries and such to redden their lips, pinch their own cheeks to make them look flush, etc.. That's at least like ~2,500 years old, so I'm sure that around the world, women have been doing stuff like this (and fucked up stuff like foot binding, the neck thing, the ear/lip discs, etc.) for... really, probably as long as women have been sentient. Think about it- it's a tool for early woman. A less attractive female could get some Chad caveman to fuck her if she gussied herself up with some poisonous berries that made her tits swell up or something along those lines. A tool for propagating your own DNA, and it's easy and mostly safe after they stopped taking poison for all of it.
