Velma being lesbian actually makes a ton of sense. Also, I haven't seen any previews of this movie yet, but I assume it isn't directed at kids, more at nostalgic 30-somethings.

For Old School cartoons I watched as a kid, Thundarr the Barbarian was the only one with half decent writing.
