There's already communism in most sports (including the MLB) where the top pays the bottom a "competitive balance" fee (tax) .
These leagues know they can't full off put in "you pay X amount to players, and max out at X wage...all further monies go towards the league" because, ...well, I would imagine they're going to end up there. I mean they've been headed there for years.
