The left is perfectly willing to handsomely reward the stupid and incompetent with money, jobs, grants, lectures, book deals, tenure ... *unless* one of them raises his head, looks around, and says "That doesn't make any sense, we need to change it." Then the left drops them the way Fat Man was dropped on Japan.
