The box shit ain't bad. I dated a girl years ago who had two boxes in the fridge at any given point (red and a white). Took her about 3 weeks to get through a box...she was a real lightweight.

You may call it, "Cask Wine," and act snooty about wine again while drinking it. And some are indeed not bad.

Costco’s Kirkland Cabernet in the box is one of my regular favorites. As good as any $12-15 bottle, and that’s the price of the whole box.

I haven't been in a Costco forever. Might need to make a trip.

If you drink it and live in a state that sells it, they have great liquor choices too, some of the Kirkland brands are good too - namely the gin and vodka.

"Malt" wine aka Four Loko. lol.

Riesling is fantastic. Sweet wines are the best, they're actually pleasant to drink. I don't get why everything else is so popular.

Most booze tastes terrible - That's why people attach identities to it. Like with whiskey; you can get used to the shitty flavors and develop preferences, but just like whiskey is "tough / masculine" wine is "cultured / snooty". What people drink is usually a big personality indicator if it's consistent.

Especially if it's malt liquor and 4 loco.

I don’t like sweet wines at all, unless it’s a tawny port. The drier the better for me, it has much less sugar.

Well fuck Merlot was spot on for me.

You take your steaks still (mostly) alive.

I don't drink wine though.

What about Malbec?

Then you can locate South America on a map

Interestingly it originated in the underrated wine region of Hungary, spread to France, and was perfected in Argentina
