You just solved a mystery for me!

I've been befriending a squirrel for the past few weeks. Most of the time I feed her on our deck, where she visits often, and she's at the point of coming when called.

Yesterday, a random mushroom appeared on the deck. No idea where it came from, I assumed it was food someone abandoned when a hawk was overhead.

Now that I know, she's getting double rations today.
