Good you let him be since he was with family.

If he was alone I might approach him for a chat, it might turn out in the end that he doesn't really know what the symbols mean, or he knows and is just based.

Would also stick around for longer if I could and casually keep an eye from the distance, so I can back him up in case he attracts some negative attention.
