I knew he was ex KGB but never knew he was a jew. The confusion I had was the jews follow the old testament whereas Christians and Catholics lean toward following the new testament. The old testament is the one with all of the gay murdering and violence so it makes sense if he is, I'm just surprised, because the new testament is not really affiliated with jews and it's the one likened to communism most likely.
