I'd like it to be real and would be something a White father can and would do for his child. However, it appears to me to be somewhat computer altered/generated; the wheels stop turning at 12 seconds in just after the dip in the gravel, yet it continues moving forward (also briefly does that before a cut away at 6 seconds).
It isn't that he hit the brakes/released the accelerator as the motor sound continues as if the accelerator is still held down, it continues moving forward at the same speed without slowing as the accelerator is still held down, and it leaves no drag marks in the gravel or grinding sound as if the wheels had been locked up due to holding a brake.
