Other things I appreciate in my area: -Other road side stands that are on the honor system (firewood, fruit stands) -Being able to pump my gas without having to pay first -kids being able to leave their bikes in a front yard and not go missing -no worries about packages left by my front door -randomly being left excess harvest from my neighbors crops, leaving them excess of mine, giving and getting hard written thank you cards for doing so -the old couple who invite everyone on the street to their front yard on Christmas Eve to sing carols while they play instruments and hand out song books

Shit like this is why I decided to stay in Maine early in life. Our state slogan is "Maine, the way life should be" (pic8.co)

edit: added I95 roadsign link.

Isn't Maine ultra-blue blooded liberal though? To the point of absurdity?

Mainley the rich, most densely populated coastal areas, the inland (90% of the state - sparsely populated small towns) are quite conservative.

Nice - so, like most places, LOL! I love in Texas and we enjoy it for the most part, but yearn for colder climates. I miss "winter".

Beautiful woman living in a white non-mixed community. If this was in Syracuse NY the nearest city to me the jar would be gone, the flowers would be stolen or thrown all over the ground. The table or cart be tipped over or wrecked. I give it an less an a hour for it happen.
