There are two Sears kit homes in my area. One neighbor actually still has the catalog and set of build plans. Every seller has passed them down to the next buyer.

This is pretty cool piece of history. Looking through all of this, all the pieces are pre-cut, so it assembles like Lego. If you like building things, it's a shame that you can't freely get one of these again and just build it. Idiots will say stuff about AC, or wi-fi and maybe they are right, but just a home like that looks good.
