Long ago, as a young Marine, I met a lot of foreign nationals who had signed up just for that reason, as a path to citizenship. I'm sure they used that citizenship later to import all of their America hating relatives so that they could get all of the free shit that they knew would be coming. Then they set about trying to turn America into the same kind of shit hole that they came from in the first place...
