Some of the immigration issues are getting media coverage in a new way. I can tell because I have had two reddit tier friends in the last three days who have been going into convulsions (red face, high blood pressure) about the Muslims in Michigan.
It’s very fun to watch them wake up. Two minutes into the Socratic method and I’m saying things like, “What exactly is the “Character” of this country that we need to defend from these foreign Muslim values you’re telling me about?”

I do think this is from a change in news coverage. For the last two months they’ve been histrionic about shit going on in Texas and California and that seems to be tapering off. I enjoyed that because I got to say “How come you only read news coverage from the two states that are majority Hispanic?”
I may have wasted years of my life reading stupid shit online, but I have developed the ability to basically brainwash people in IRL conversations…squeaky clean…
