Yesterday I was reading the comment sections on youtube, related to the "riots" in france, and a guy with a russian flag said something like "All countries that allowed gay marriage are doomed", and it caught my attention. It made me think about why god in the OT eradicated large chunks of the world population, because as I understand it they were abominations, giants and stuff, not "human" and also sodom and gomorrah, because they were practicing homosex among other things, homosex that is also deemed an abomination in the bible. And it also echoed what father ripperger said about sin; "every time you sin you spoil the glory of god"...
