First let's look at the favorite sports of each ethnicity in the United States.
Okay, 4% for both whites and blacks preferring soccer as their favorite sport. Interesting. And we all know blacks make up 13% of the U.S population.
And here is the U.S.A FIFA main team.
By my count that's 8 blacks (give or take, some look like weird muts), and 3 whites. If you look at the entire roster it's a similar distribution.
Canada, 4% black population, same situation.
France, 5% black population, same situation again.
Netherlands, 4% black population, roughly 50% of the team is black.
Most of the other FIFA teams I looked at had more normal representation, these 4 were the most egregious by far.
