So that’s like 11 generations back. Wow. I tried one of those heritage sites before. I only made it back a few generations. Even though I paid for the service, it was just a spam fest of upgrade options. I lost interest in it.

I have a crazy life and when I found out this guy was the first of my lineage in America it really meant a lot to me.

I just used ancestry dot com. I got lucky in having an ancestor that someone cared about a lot. Other people had already done 99+% of the work and research. I just clicked on names.
