My sister's dream was to see paris... don't see that ever happening now. now it needs a nuke.

I saw it in 2006. There were bands of negros selling illegal contraband. Hoards of purple black 1000% Africans evading the Police. Causing chaos, stealing from people like the old bracelet trick "let me give you a gift" then they demand you give them 50Euro etc... and if ppl don't pay several start surrounding them demanding payment. The subway had pealing drywall. It was a dump. The only thing that was beautiful was the the gilded architecture like the museums, buildings, and the antique furniture that many shop keepers would put outside their cafes while open. Two of the things I found the most interesting were that they had 3 prices for the same cup of coffee (outside, inside, & bar) outside being the most expensive. The other was no free public restrooms. They make you pay a door attendant. They always had rr lines. Once you were inside the stall it was like a mini private bathroom with it's own sink. lol I'm sure a lot of it has changed now.
