I've met more than one woman who works, is slim, employed and is together with a bitter, chubby and depressed loser who is unemployed. Maybe they couldn't land a top tier man but they could do better than bottom tier. Often times other men are actively flirting with them. I also have male friends with high paying jobs, who are decently to okay-ish looking and imo have a great personality. Yet are together with an ugly bitch that is always nagging and putting them down in front of others. The idea that everyone is out to get the best partner they can afford is not true. This might change your perspective: The more loyal a woman (or man) is, the more likely they will stay together with whomever fucks them first and doesn't leave. Because that is the very definition of loyality. And often times this will be an abrasive asshole who isn't concerned about being "good enough".
