I might guess that Asian women are chosen more often because they still represent visually a more youthful female look even into older age and especially since they tend to be slimmer and use less makeup than today's modern white women. In other words Asian women often resemble more closely the natural healthy childbearing form of a female than most of today's overweight white women.
