When I first started in construction we were on this big building in the city hanging drywall. It was cold af and we were standing by a 55 gal drum we had built a fire in. There was one black guy there as a laborer from another contractor. All my life I have only ever seen a few blacks working on legit projects. We were all trying to come up with ways to stay warm and the brotha (my feets be code) announced his plan to line the inside of his boots with insulation We tried to warn him of the consequences but being a nigger it was a waste of effort. He ended up going to the emergency room about 4 hours later. Someone had to call his boss and tell him he had a man down. Now if I see a black on a job I steer clear because a low IQ man can get you killed in heartbeat. I couldnt work with the average groid. I dont believe in a conventional god but I sure thank whatever spirit for not making me be born black. At Thanksgiving when they ask what I am thankful for this always comes to mind.
