If you haven't prepared for every variable, is your fault when shit goes down. You don't have to be a "prepper." Just be prepared. Get one or two extra of shelf stable foods that you eat on the regular when you shop. Stock up and rotate them as you prepare your meals. Keep as much bottled water as your comfortable with having or have the room to store. Etc, etc, etc.
Good, water, medicine, firearms, ammunition, portable solar panels, batteries, battery banks, tools, soap, clothes, etc. Grab a few extras for trade. Drinkable alcohol, nicotine pouches, ammo, etc.
Make sure you and your families needs will be met should the unthinkable happen. Have a backup plan, make a big out bag, talk to your family about those things and plans. It's up to you to be ready and it's easier than you think to get and stay ready.
The unthinkable... this where most people run into problems. Then, when it happens, guess where they all come?

Indeed. I know everyone here thinks the same, too, but I'll say it for the lurkers... Only if they're White. Everything else is just coming to kill you in a situation like that.
Helping will be different for everyone. Also:
Think bigger. Do you want an army? Can you arm and feed X amount of people for X amount of time? A super prepper could take over a whole town, lmao! (Bit of a joke, there.)
