I couldn't get any traction there from day one. The fact that you managed to enjoy it for even a second tells me it must have gotten at least a little less bad since I tried it.
i like the idea of minds, i tried it for awhile. steemit is a little better imo
Sargon and several of the big YouTubers gave them all kinds of feedback so it slowly started getting better.
They took a big step back when they switched over to the Ethereum blockchain platform. That took a good amount of time and resources away from developing the interface.& features. Now they're having to get the bugs and quirks worked out.
They need to build out the UI features so people can set how they want their page/feed to be viewed. Because part of what's hurting Minds is how its trying to be the everything in one social network. It's really damn slow browsing for people trying to use it for photography and graphic art. Because you have one large vertical column instead of rows of a few small images like Flickr & Instagram.
Hopefully BitChute's p2p live streaming is open source because Minds could really use that feature and actually give many of us a reason to use that site.
It's actually getting buggy with the screen jumping when they add new posts to the screen your reading instead of waiting till you go to the beginning again and the rotating boosted content at the top is a pain in the ass sometimes rotating when you are reading the title of the post. You can try it though the people mostly just vote and do not comment at all and I think a lot of them are like SJW's and just read the headline and vote on that instead, I don't like people that do that since it seems like it's just a waste posting content when they don't even read it.
This is why I had infinity scroll and even worse when it's done with react. Never load more content while a user is in the middle of scrolling. When it's done with react the browser freezes up for a second first. They scroll harder wondering what's going on and then it goes light speed down to content they weren't looking at.
Exactly, it pissed me the fuck off. Maybe they need to high you for a programmer to fix the crap since it seems they are inept it fixing it themselves.
