It has been obvious what they are about and what they're doing from the start. Giving them attention only makes them stronger. It feeds them. They aren't a cancer that can't be ignored because it will just get worse. They are a pimple. Squeezing it gives you a scar but if you leave it alone it just goes away. The big pimples take a while but they always shrivel up and die the way every pimple does.

I've known some of the personally, as well. They are persistent but they are losers. Giving them the attention they want only makes them last longer.
