Things don't "get better" or not. You're asking the wrong question. To be frank, though, "will I ever stop being so lazy" is a pretty stupid question to ask, so I guess we'll have to give you this one.

Everything happens in vibrations, so it depends whether the things are on the upward section or the downward section of their cycles. In the entropic physical world, things tend to be replaced or reborn instead of gradually improving, so we mostly just see things degrading with time.
