That is a load of pseudoscience mumbo jumbo bullshit.

Normally I would chalk it up to opinion but the fact that the entire point of my post was to poke fun at so called scientists that drew hasty conclusions about the relationship between music preference and behavior based on little to no evidence... And then you make even more extreme conclusions about the relationship between music preference and behavior based on even less (zero) evidence. Try harder.

I only have my own experiences. In my experience most people I've known that listen to classical have slight aspergers and came from really weird families. Those people are more likely to have other outlying behavior some of which psychology will chalk up as "maladaptive."

Of course maladaptive really does in a way mean outlying. Drinking is maladaptive, yet most people do it, and I didn't see the article treating 90% of metal listeners as having maladaptive behavior. So what are they talking about when they use that term. Outlying behavior.

I'm just explaining what to me I think caused them to see what they saw. I consider psychology to have some of the most careless thinkers in it and I take anything they write with 50 tons of salt, so what I wrote wasn't meant as agreement.
