They bought fake licenses and IDs in China, and based on their accents, they are from North-East China ( Dong Bei Province 东北省).
Probably some successful entrepreneurs who decided to move their assets in SA thinking they could get away from their homeland.
There are tons of successful Chinese businessmen/businesswomen who are moving their families away to Canada, Australia, New Sharialand... and slowly move their assets in oversea banks (small amounts every week) and continue their business like nothing is happening to avoid getting caught, once most of their assets are moved they assign a new CEO and leave the country.
The lady in the car is only paid to translate and you can tell from her body language when she realized they fucked up. She doesnl't look worried, but certainly disappointed as she might not get paid what she was promised.
I don't think she will get convicted. On the other hand, the other guys are totally fucked.
You know, as much as I can sympathise with my countrymen, and indeed with anyone who wants to get the hell out of a communist state, I'm just going to say: if someone's first action upon entering a country is to break its laws; and indeed for anyone going into some place, whose first action is to flout that place's rules, then that person is a piece of shit.
