I decided if I'm going to live a better life even though I wasn't using the porn I'd delete it all. I just deleted permanently about 3/4 or a terabyte of video's and about 70K images. I now have about 800 gb's of free space. For me this would be unthinkable a few years ago but I actually feel good that I did it. I'll be getting rid of other stuff also. I've deleted most of my linux ISO's besides the ones I really like and I'm down to 3 ISO's in that folder. I guess a good house cleaning is a great thing occasionally.

It was a source of comfort years ago but I don't do that any more so that was off the table, I was removing a temptation in my mind. It was good removing that option since it isn't on my mind any more clearing that part of my mind and the thoughts that accompanied it. Hell even though I was not viewing it I was always worried about a drive cash just because it took so many many many hours to download it. I guess I'll have to find a woman if I decide to become a sexual person but a good one not one that sex is a big part of the equation but morality and honesty. That will be a different way for me.

I have been listening to Jordon Peterson about why it is necessary for people to grow up.   He speaks to male and female but has a very large male following.

Women in academics disdain him. He is interviewed by flaming femenazi’s and beats them every time with common sense. He is like a breath of fresh air in the world of controlled speech.

I have not heard him address porn, but l feel empowered with his ability to stand up to those evil women, who incidentally try to control women too.

actually an old computer you just download the latest small distro and burn it on the better computer since I'm assuming the old one is a backup or for someone in the family that needs one.

I've got an archive folder I should go through...I don't even know how big the SoftwareDownloads folder is on my system. Its on the archive drive, but it has files that easily go back to 2000ish.

I don't think I have nudes and videos, but I know I have scantily clad photos of women from Maxim and FHM someplace.

No, I know exactly what you mean. I stopped downloading porn when my dad was finding where I put it on our Win98 SE box we had in the 90s. Since then, I just looked at it online and didn't usually save it offline. I would only save offline the scantily clad stuff and just never went past it. It would be easier to explain away pictures of scantily clad women than a folder dedicated to fisting.

As for software I rarely keep more than a few years at most. It's usually lower quality of even super small software today. I'm also not saving software for others though I will save knowledge in text files like how to do something in linux like changing grub entries or something that I might not remember right offhand.

This is coming from someone who made it half a year on no-fap (and no sex) in the past. Porn is not too different than any other vice, and is being used to cover up or mask other problems in your life.

You can beat porn by replacing it with another vice (mine was video games), but at the end of the day, the problem doesn't go away.

If you're lonely, depressed, fat, ugly, have a shitty job, no future, no purpose etc. then the temptation to go back to porn will always be there. You need to work on fixing yourself and your life situation. This can be difficult if you're married and your sexual outlets are limited to just your wife. And while we're on the subject, no, getting a girlfriend or married does not fix the problem.

I talk to women when ever I'm near them. I don't hit on them all the time because sex is not the objective but finding a woman that is moral and honest and I would be satisfied with good hugs and kisses for a while. I'm not a dog anymore and don't plan on visiting those days when just getting laid was the first thing on my mind and not having someone I actually like. I'm done thinking with my dick, I've wasted years doing that and tons of money also. Well where I was before the internet went down often and it was slow so downloading it it ran smooth and I could watch porn even when the cable went out.
