I think 4Chan, Voat, etc using ((( Google ))) captchas is suspicious. There's no way to use those platforms without revealing your location. This is important during this red flag witch hunt hysteria we're experiencing.

It's because Voat uses Cloudflare which is the best (potentially free) DDoS protection that I'm aware of. While Voat should switch off of it, it's not the most trivial thing and it's not like Cloudflare adds no value.

It's unfortunate, but there are remedies for now. If you don't want people to know where you're coming from, use Tor browser, Whonix, Tails, etc.

Javascript leaks tons of stuff. Your best bet is to run something like Whonix if you are concerned.
