I have several friends that are very different from me ideologically but when we talk IRL it is good. I can respect they have their own opinion of things and vice versa. This online arguing about politics is the absolute worst.

It's such a wonderful thing to just be able to talk to someone, especially if they keep up their side of the conversation.

That's nice when the conversation flows freely. I usually wind up with my back pinned against the wall wondering 'why are you telling me all of this?'.
