Which door are you storming out of? You came up in a lift that locked down once the fire system activated. So you can't leave the way you entered.

Death by smoke is painless, but with fire is pretty painful. I don't have a very fast mind, so might as well get into a room and let the smoke work the magic. lol

So your choosing to give up on life and let the smoke take you? Making no effort to walk though either of the clearly marked fire door? Ok. You die. The company you work for collects money from the insurance policy they had on you.
