If the fire is big enough that I can't use the extinguisher and then the doors if that doesn't extinguish the fire, then I pick the doors on the right.
The door on the right is locked. You throw your shoulder into it, hoping you can force your way through. No. No you cannot. You slip into unconciousness while thinking "Fuck, why would they lock a fire exit?".
You go to purgatory. During the debrief of your life you ask the eternal bureaucrat why the fire exit was locked. You get told because that wasn't the fire exit..... Clearly.
So the building is stupidly designed? Did it take long to get that debriefing? I imagine the afterlife has to have an efficient bureaucracy, as long as you're not headed towards fire and brimstone.
The building is very badly designed with terrible signage.
The bureaucracy is as slow and ineffective as All are. But you're dead. A few hundred years is nothing.
