I upvote everything. I don't think I've ever downvoted anything on this site.
But upvoting gives the illusion of agreement, which isn't its neccessary intention.
I think it would be neat if there was a disagree button, one that promotes the comment/post for conversation's sake, while firmly letting everyone know you disagree.

That's a good idea, but I imagine it's hard to implement.
