Live way out in country, dog is a stray that just showed up. Man I can tell the difference in his barks. Like what he means. Just got the snake bark and killed a copperhead on the porch.

I can even see when he is smelling snakes in the woods, now we all know the biblical but why would a dog have a fear of snakes innately?

Honestly a copperhead isnt likely to strike unless you step on it. Still on my porch I might. Now a water moccasin is a whole nother story, those bastards will come after you.
