Just posting a link that does not explain anything related to it is just lazy.

Obviously, posts in funny etc or a specific sub where the relevance is clear enough is fine.

Post something in politics ? You best post a comment as to why you posted a link ... agree, disagree, comment on the article.

That doesn't really make sense. That isn't how most people use the term and doing your way may be nice, but shouldn't be mandatory. I don't have to be compelled to share my thoughts on every article I post.
