Just posting a link that does not explain anything related to it is just lazy.

Obviously, posts in funny etc or a specific sub where the relevance is clear enough is fine.

Post something in politics ? You best post a comment as to why you posted a link ... agree, disagree, comment on the article.

I'm assuming the point you are trying to make is that a poster should give their take on an article to be clear on where they stand. Could you say that in a less confrontational way?
