Obviously, posts in funny etc or a specific sub where the relevance is clear enough is fine.

Post something in politics ? You best post a comment as to why you posted a link ... agree, disagree, comment on the article.

Just linking is lazy.

I think a default is when a person links to something w/o commenting further=he agrees with the posted/linked material.

But then when a discussion begins OPs will inevitably claim that he has no opinion,,,really then why did they post? These are about 50% of posts ... and I consider them retarded.

I have been known to post left right and center leaning links so you probably can't nail be down there. I share it if I thought it was an interesting argument not just because I agree with it, I also am of the belief we should listen to opinions other than our own. How else would we learn anything new?

I can think an argument was good or a video was good or an article was good without agreeing with the content.

There's a button that allows for using the title of the link as it was originally posted. What's wrong with that? If you really want someone's take on what they have posted, just ask.

If I post some news article without my take on it, I'm spamming and clickbaiting? News titles tend to be somewhat clickbait so I can give you that to a degree, but spam? Can you tell me what you define spam to mean, please? Is full of spam?
