Here is why, people will abuse it whatever is a default for things that don't have a place, if everyone posts everything to whatever well then whatever isn't really whatever anymore its anything. Seriously when you go to post it auto populates a list of subs how hard is it to try and find one that might fit the interest? What is the point of having subs at all if everyone just puts everything into whatever?
