It's not sensational. It has become so over the top that the majority of Normie users are disgusted and hopefully will leave the platform. It is helpful to put their direct intentions where others can see it, especially as it is so conspicuously being implemented. Right now, groups that have functioned well for a long time are being shut down with no warning and it is stirring people because it's taking away their "entertainment dopamine hit". This is the best time to show them exactly what's going on. I imagine most of us here aren't the dopamine FB sort, but we know a lot of people who are. I also think that this could be the way to wake up a lot of normie people. I participate in a group that troubleshoots farmstock illnesses/health concerns better than any vet I can find within my state, so I have stayed because it's a necessity. Trying to get them to backup on a forum or anything other than FB in the past has been impossible. This is beginning to illicit many to ask for a backup or different hosting site because they're afraid of losing it. Sorry you feel like the title is sensationalist. I view it as very apt.
